What Will I Learn?
The Wilderness Course gives you practical skills to plan and lead safe, efficient backcountry trips in the Pacific Northwest. Learn navigation, route and hazard assessment, gear selection, campcraft, food and water management, wildlife safety, risk management, and basic wilderness medicine. Design solid itineraries, manage groups confidently, apply Leave No Trace, and respond effectively to emergencies in remote terrain.
