What will I learn?
The Botanist Course gives you practical skills to design and run a complete 50-hectare plant survey, from framing conservation goals and research questions to building robust sampling designs. You will learn standardized field methods, species identification and voucher protocols, data management, and monitoring strategies for rare, native, and invasive plants in temperate river–forest–grassland mosaics.
Elevify advantages
Develop skills
- Habitat-based plant ID: quickly recognize native, invasive, and rare species.
- Vegetation sampling: apply transects, quadrats, and plots to quantify plant cover.
