Cyber Physical Systems Course
What will I learn?
You will build a rigorous foundation in CPS architecture, covering sensing, actuation, embedded computing, and communication protocols. You will apply classical and modern control theory to model and tune physical plants, then extend those skills to networked and sampled-data control scenarios. The course covers CPS-specific security threats, cryptographic controls, and threat modeling methods used in real deployments. You will conduct hazard analyses, design fault-tolerant systems, and apply functional safety standards. Supplementary modules introduce machine learning for CPS, digital twins, Industrial IoT, and autonomous robotics. By the end, you will be prepared to lead end-to-end CPS projects from requirements through field commissioning.
