Alternative Communication and Autism Course
This course equips educators with practical tools to implement AAC for autistic students throughout the school day. Participants learn to choose low- and high-tech systems, select core and fringe vocabulary, organise symbol sets, conduct assessments, collect data, monitor progress, and develop training and coaching plans for staff and families to promote consistent functional communication in classrooms, recess, and home settings.
