What will I learn?
The Botanist Course equips you with hands-on skills to plan and carry out a full 50-hectare plant survey, starting from setting conservation aims and research questions right up to creating solid sampling plans. You'll pick up standard field techniques, species spotting and voucher procedures, data handling, and tracking methods for scarce, local, and alien plants in those mixed river-forest-grassland areas typical of temperate zones.
