What will I learn?

The Ship Pilot Course provides a focused, practical framework to plan and carry out safe harbour passages. You'll learn to interpret charts and electronic navigation charts, create practical waypoints, evaluate tides, currents, wind, and visibility, and develop speed plans. You'll practise tug coordination, docking, securing, and undocking procedures, while using risk evaluation, backup plans, and navigation tools for assured, effective operations.
