What will I learn?

This practical Engineering Hydrology Course teaches selection of reliable hydroclimate data, interpretation of IDF curves, estimation of rainfall-runoff and peak flows. Learners will characterise sites, design safe drainage and detention systems, identify flood risks, and document assumptions, uncertainties, and regulatory requirements for compliant hydrologic designs applicable in Zambia.
