What will I learn?
This course equips you with hands-on skills to plan, install, and maintain 25 kV AC overhead contact systems over a 1 km double-track section. You will cover design choices for height, stagger, tensioning, and sectioning, follow a structured installation process using appropriate tools, conduct testing, and handle documentation. It emphasises safety protocols, isolation procedures, PPE usage, inspections, and fault-finding to ensure reliable and compliant rail electrification projects.
