What will I learn?

The Boat Navigation Course equips you with practical skills to plan and carry out safe coastal voyages confidently. You will learn to interpret and adjust charts, utilise tide tables and current information, work out legs, estimated times of arrival, and secure pathways, and implement COLREGs to avoid collisions. Develop proficiency in combining GPS, visual positioning, record-keeping, backup planning, and risk reduction to enhance your safety on the water and decision-making abilities.
