What will I learn?
You will learn how to assess climbing sites, select and inspect personal protective equipment, and apply fall-protection regulations correctly. The course covers rope types, carabiners, pulleys, and mechanical ascenders, along with the physics of load and force that drive every rigging decision. You will tie and inspect load-bearing knots, build multi-point anchors, and set up rappel systems with proper backups. Emergency procedures, suspension trauma response, and partner rescue techniques are practised until they become reliable under stress. Advanced modules address high-directional rigging, compound mechanical advantage systems, and documented rigging plan development for complex operations.
