What will I learn?
This short Prosthetics Course equips you with hands-on skills to evaluate candidates for below-knee prosthetics, pick suitable sockets, liners, suspension systems, and feet for limbs affected by diabetes, and carry out basic making using simple tools. You will learn step-by-step how to fit them, do static and dynamic alignment tests, conduct safe walking trials, provide skin care and putting-on routines, as well as straightforward maintenance, problem-solving, and follow-up guidelines to ensure safe and effective use of prosthetics.
