What will I learn?
The Archaeology Course provides a practical, hands-on approach to mastering survey, excavation, and laboratory techniques for actual projects. You will learn to plan corridor surveys, utilise GNSS, GPR, and shovel test pits, record contexts, handle discoveries, and perform dating, ceramic, stone tool, animal remains, and soil studies. Additionally, you will engage in GIS interpretation, technical writing, and community engagement focused on sites in Uganda's river valleys.
