What will I learn?
The Viticulture and Oenology Course equips you with hands-on skills to plan and run a small demonstration vineyard and winery in areas with warm summers and cool winters. You'll cover assessing sites and soils, choosing grape varieties and rootstocks, setting up the vineyard, managing the canopy and yields, deciding on harvest times, and the processes for making white and red wines, along with sustainability practices, quality checks, hygiene, and weaving in educational elements from the vines right through to the bottled wine.
