What will I learn?

You will study nuclear structure, binding energy, and the models physicists use to predict nuclear properties. You will analyze all major radioactive decay modes and apply the decay law to practical calculations. The course covers nuclear reaction kinematics, cross sections, and neutron-induced processes relevant to reactor physics.
