What will I learn?
The Harbor Course gives a straightforward, hands-on look at safe port visits from before you arrive until you leave. You will learn about different ship types, their main sizes, simple stability, choosing where to dock, and navigation boundaries. You will practice good communication, paperwork, guiding with pilots, using tugboats, tying up, and casting off. You will get better at planning cargo, working with cranes, and safety on the dock to cut down waiting time, prevent accidents, and make every port stop smoother.
