What will I learn?
The Wilderness Course teaches practical skills for planning and leading safe, efficient trips in the bush of the Pacific Northwest. You will learn navigation, assessing routes and dangers, choosing gear, camp skills, handling food and water, staying safe from wild animals, managing risks, and basic bush medicine. Create strong travel plans, lead groups with confidence, follow Leave No Trace principles, and handle emergencies well in remote areas.
