What will I learn?
This Ship Welder Training Programme offers practical hands-on training to weld ship hulls safely and up to standard. You will learn about hull steel types, selecting plate thickness, controlling corrosion, setting up FCAW, GMAW and SMAW, matching consumables, developing WPS, preparing joints, controlling distortion, non-destructive testing, documentation, and hot work safety to ensure welds are strong, compliant and ready for inspection.
