Master adaptive immunity for clinical practice in Sierra Leone settings. Gain skills to interpret immunology labs, diagnose primary immunodeficiencies like CVID and SCID, optimise vaccine schedules for those with weak immunity, and select therapies such as IVIG, HSCT, or gene therapy to better manage patients facing repeated infections and improve their health outcomes.

What will I learn?
This Adaptive Immunity Course offers a clear, hands-on look at B- and T-cell functions, antibody makeup, and how antigens are presented, linking these to common primary immunodeficiencies and patterns of repeated infections seen in practice. You will learn to choose and understand vital lab tests like flow cytometry, immunoglobulin levels, functional assays, and genetic screening, then use this to advise on vaccinations, immunoglobulin therapy, preventing infections, and ongoing team-based care.
