What will I learn?
This course covers every core skill a die-cutting technician needs to succeed in a production environment. You will learn how to identify machine types, read die-line drawings, and set up both flatbed and rotary presses to specification. Safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and PPE requirements are covered in full so you can work confidently and compliantly. You will also develop quality control skills using callipers, control charts, and dimensional inspection techniques. Tooling maintenance, ejection rubber care, and steel rule replacement are covered in practical detail. By the end, you will be equipped to reduce makeready time, minimise waste, and troubleshoot complex production problems independently.
