What will I learn?

This course builds hands-on skills for planning, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precise shafts and keyways from AISI 1045 steel. You will master insert and toolholder selection, cutting parameters, RPM and feed calculations, and surface finish control. Additionally, gain expertise in interpreting technical drawings, measuring dimensions and runout, and delivering parts that are accurately documented for further processing.
