What will I learn?

This course provides hands-on skills for planning, designing, and managing safe, efficient public lighting along corridors. You will learn LED street lighting fundamentals, photometry principles, and layout methods for roads, pedestrian crossings, cycle paths, and parks. It covers relevant standards, dark-sky policies, community requirements, equity considerations, plus maintenance strategies, asset management, lifecycle planning, and cost evaluations for sustainable performance.
