What will I learn?
The Elder Care Training Course provides practical skills to assist older adults with dementia in everyday activities. Learners gain expertise in safe hygiene, dressing, transfers, mobility, and fall prevention, alongside precise ADL documentation. It develops strong assessment, care planning, and communication abilities, employs non-drug behavioural strategies, monitors medications and vital signs, and uses evidence-based tools, checklists, and guidelines for safer, dignified care in Sierra Leone contexts.
