What Will I Learn?
The Ultrasound for Nurses Course provides quick, hands-on training to use point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) at the bedside confidently for assessing fluid status, monitoring lungs, and aiding vascular access. You will learn to evaluate the inferior vena cava (IVC), identify B-lines, apply safe scanning methods, document findings, understand scope limitations, and communicate using SBAR format to improve routine assessments, facilitate prompt decisions, and enhance teamwork with the healthcare team.
