What Will I Learn?

This course teaches how to organise and conduct targeted 3-5 day Kaizen events to reduce defects, scrap, and delays in machining lines. Participants will learn to map processes, define problems, gather benchmark data, establish SMART goals, and use root cause analysis tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, FMEA, and Pareto charts. It covers developing effective countermeasures, standard operating procedures, visual management systems, and KPIs to maintain improvements and foster a culture of ongoing enhancement.
