What will I learn?
Gain practical skills to model simply supported concrete bridges, assess moving load effects, and evaluate seismic response with SDOF techniques. Master mass and stiffness estimation, Newmark-beta integration, response spectra interpretation, dynamic amplification and base shear calculations, and identify needs for advanced MDOF or nonlinear analysis to ensure reliable results.
