What will I learn?
The Elder Care Training Course provides practical skills to assist older adults with dementia in everyday activities. Participants learn safe hygiene practices, dressing techniques, safe transfers, mobility support, and fall prevention strategies, along with precise documentation of activities of daily living. Develop strong skills in assessment, care planning, and effective communication, apply non-drug behavioural management methods, monitor medications and vital signs, and utilise evidence-based tools, checklists, and guidelines for safer, more dignified care delivery.
