What will I learn?
This course covers ear anatomy, acoustic principles, hearing loss types, and how each factor influences mould selection and design. You will learn to take safe, high-quality ear impressions, complete laboratory order forms accurately, and evaluate finished moulds before patient appointments. Fitting techniques, real-ear verification, and chairside modification skills are covered in full. You will also gain practical knowledge of infection control, patient education, regulatory compliance, and digital scanning workflows. Special population fittings, including paediatric, neonatal, and medically complex cases, are addressed throughout.
