What will I learn?
You will learn how to assess a child's condition using structured evaluation tools and recognise when to call emergency services without hesitation. The course covers paediatric CPR, AED operation, choking relief, bleeding control, and shock management for infants and children. You will also gain skills in handling seizures, severe allergic reactions, burns, fractures, and environmental emergencies. Medication safety, inclusive first aid for children with special needs, and emergency preparedness planning are also included. By the end, you will meet regulatory certification requirements and be fully prepared to protect every child in your care.
