What will I learn?
You will understand vehicle network protocols — CAN, Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay — and how attackers exploit them. You will apply structured threat modeling using STRIDE, attack trees, and TARA, aligned with ISO/SAE 21434. The course covers secure ECU software development, including cryptography, secure boot, and AUTOSAR security features. You will gain hands-on penetration-testing skills for CAN networks, diagnostic interfaces, wireless systems, and firmware. Supply-chain security, OTA update architecture, and the Uptane framework are included. You will also learn to build security-monitoring pipelines, perform digital forensics on vehicle systems, and design a Cybersecurity Management System that meets type-approval requirements.
