Innate Immunity Course
Gain expertise in innate immunity responses to respiratory viruses. Develop skills in creating solid experimental setups, understanding intricate innate immune reactions, and converting data from NK cells, macrophages, and cytokines into practical biomarkers, vaccine enhancers, and therapeutic options for biomedical applications. This focused program equips learners with essential tools for real-world research and innovation in antiviral defences.

What will I learn?
This course provides a clear overview of innate immunity defences in the respiratory system, covering epithelial barriers, macrophages, dendritic cells, neutrophils, NK cells, interferons, cytokines, complement, and acute phase proteins. Participants will learn to plan practical in vitro and ex vivo experiments, follow biosafety protocols, analyse innate immune data, and apply insights to develop biomarkers, vaccine adjuvants, and targeted treatments.
