What will I learn?
This Fluid Mechanics Course provides practical tools to predict lift, drag, and power requirements for high-altitude UAVs. You will learn to estimate induced, parasite, and skin-friction drag, assemble total drag coefficients, and calculate propulsion power. Apply dimensional analysis, uncertainty methods, and simple analytical models, while using real atmospheric data and inlet performance techniques to make reliable, data-backed aerodynamic decisions.
