What will I learn?
The CAM Course provides a quick, hands-on way to program precise, safe aluminum parts. You will learn about holding the work and setting datums, choosing tools, speeds and feeds, and smart strategies for roughing and finishing. Practice with simulations, avoiding collisions, and checks before running, then go on to post-processing, preparing NC code, and good documentation so your toolpaths work well from the first part to the final handover.
Elevify advantages
Develop skills
- Reading CAM geometry: understand 3D bracket models for quick, accurate machining.
- CNC cutting data: calculate RPM, feeds, and depths for 6061-T6 aluminum in minutes.
- Toolpath strategy: create efficient roughing and finishing for small precision parts.
- Workholding setup: set datums, fixtures, and offsets for strong, repeatable operations.
- NC code prep: post-process, check G-code, and document safe, ready-to-use programs.
