What will I learn?
You will learn how to apply the five essential elements of cooperative learning to real classroom situations with children ages three through eight. The course covers how to assess group readiness, scaffold cooperation over time, and design a physical and social environment that supports collaboration. You will master a repertoire of cooperative structures, from partner-based formats to small-group and whole-class approaches, and learn how to teach the social skills children need to use them successfully.
