What will I learn?
This training covers every core competency required for professional animal-assisted therapy practice. You will learn how to assess and select suitable therapy animals, read species-specific behaviour and stress signals, and apply evidence-based frameworks to diverse client populations including children, older adults, and individuals with trauma histories. You will master client intake, SMART goal writing, and individualised treatment planning, along with infection control and safety protocols for real-world settings.
