What will I learn?

You will build a strong foundation in biomedical engineering principles, covering biomechanics, instrumentation, and human physiology as they apply to real device development. You will learn how to select biomaterials, design and prototype medical devices, and process biomedical signals and images. The programme covers regulatory frameworks, quality management systems, and risk management so you can navigate compliance requirements with confidence. You will also explore tissue engineering, healthcare data analytics, and emerging technologies including AI and nanomedicine. A capstone project challenges you to integrate all competencies into a complete, validated device concept.
