What will I learn?

Gain hands-on skills in planning, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills to produce precise shafts and keyways using AISI 1045 steel. Master insert and toolholder selection, cutting parameters, RPM and feed calculations, and surface finish control. Practice interpreting technical drawings, measuring dimensions and runout, and preparing parts that are accurately documented for further processing.
