What will I learn?
This course covers every critical element of confined space safety, from regulatory requirements and hazard classification to air monitoring, ventilation, and energy isolation. You will learn how to complete and manage permit-required entry programmes, assign roles correctly, and coordinate with contractors on multi-employer worksites. The training also addresses PPE selection, respirator fit testing, and proper equipment maintenance. You will develop rescue plans, set up non-entry retrieval systems, and practise emergency coordination with outside agencies. Finally, you will learn how to build, audit, and continuously improve a written confined space safety programme for your organisation.
