What will I learn?
You will build a thorough understanding of fetal cardiovascular physiology and how it produces the patterns you see on every CTG trace. You will learn to measure and classify baseline fetal heart rate, variability, accelerations, and all deceleration types using internationally recognised frameworks. The course covers uterine activity assessment, the effects of medications and clinical risk factors on trace interpretation, and how to apply adjunct tests when findings are equivocal.
