What will I learn?
You will start with apple tree biology, cultivar selection, and rootstock fundamentals, then move into orchard layout, trellis installation, and first-year establishment care. From there, you will master pruning physiology, cut types, and the major training systems used in commercial production. The course covers canopy light management, fruit thinning, fertility programmes, and irrigation scheduling in practical detail.
