What will I learn?
This course provides practical tools to model simply supported concrete bridges, evaluate moving load effects, and assess seismic response using SDOF methods. You will learn to estimate mass and stiffness, apply Newmark-beta integration, interpret response spectra, compute dynamic amplification and base shear, and recognise when advanced MDOF or nonlinear analysis is required for reliable, well-documented results.
