What will I learn?
The Archaeologist Course provides a practical, hands-on approach to mastering survey, excavation, and laboratory techniques for actual projects. You will learn to plan corridor surveys, utilise GNSS, GPR, and STPs, record contexts, handle finds, and perform dating, ceramic, lithic, faunal, and soil analyses. Additionally, you will engage in GIS-based interpretation, technical reporting, and community engagement adapted to sites in the American Midwest river valleys.
