What will I learn?
This course provides a focused, practical overview of Earth's core and external magnetic field sources, geomagnetic indices, and real-time monitoring tools. Participants will learn to access and interpret Kp, Dst, AE, and local data, link geomagnetic variations to GICs and infrastructure risks, and produce concise technical notes for effective communication, forecasting, and mitigation.
