Diodes and Transistors Course
This course teaches mastery of diodes and transistors to create robust sensor front-ends and ADC interfaces. Participants learn BJT buffers, level shifting, protection clamps, SPICE verification, PCB layout, and real-world design trade-offs using common components such as 1N4148 and 2N3904 diodes and transistors.

What will I learn?
This practical course demonstrates designing reliable sensor front-ends and ADC interfaces using discrete diodes and transistors. It covers diode and BJT characteristics, passive scaling, biasing, buffering, and level shifting without operational amplifiers. Students practise clamp and protection circuits, worst-case analysis, SPICE simulations, PCB layout, and bench testing to ensure circuits remain accurate, stable, and reliable under real-world conditions.
