What will I learn?
The AFAR Training Programme provides focused, practical skills for managing obese and diabetic patients from preoperative assessment to PACU discharge. It covers airway management for suspected OSA, safe induction and maintenance techniques, fluid and glycaemic control, and rapid responses to intraoperative complications. Participants gain confidence in communication, consent, and structured handovers using evidence-based guidelines.
