What will I learn?
This course provides hands-on skills for planning, installing, and inspecting safe overhead rigging systems in live theatre productions. Participants study venue configurations, line sets, hoists, and grid load limits, perform precise load calculations, develop rigging plots and lift sheets, conduct equipment inspections, labeling, documentation, and execute safe lifting, pinning, and verification procedures to ensure reliable operations meeting industry standards.
