Elevify advantages
Develop skills
- Select marine steel: pick suitable hull plate grades, thicknesses and preheating quickly.
- Master ship welding: use FCAW, GMAW and SMAW for fabricating hull components.
- Conduct weld quality checks: apply visual, ultrasonic, magnetic particle and penetrant testing to ship standards.
- Prepare hull joints: set up butt and fillet welds with proper fit-up and welding parameters.
- Control distortion: apply welding sequences, clamps and back-gouging to maintain hull alignment.
