What will I learn?

The Hot Work Safety Course provides focused, practical training to manage fire and explosion risks during welding, cutting, and other spark-producing activities. Participants will learn to implement OSHA, NFPA 51B, and permit requirements, prepare the work area, handle cylinders and equipment, choose appropriate PPE, conduct fire watch briefings and oversight, carry out atmospheric testing, and adhere to emergency and post-work procedures to ensure every task is controlled and compliant.
