Toolmaker Training
Gain mastery in producing 304 stainless steel brackets from design to inspection. The Toolmaker Training Course integrates metallurgy, drilling jigs, forming dies, and process control to reduce burrs, manage distortion, and prolong tool life in workshop settings. It equips learners with hands-on expertise for efficient, high-quality manufacturing.

What will I learn?
This course provides practical skills for designing and operating tooling to produce reliable 2.0 mm 304 stainless steel brackets. Participants learn bracket geometry and tolerances, forming methods and die sets, springback control, drill jigs, bushings, feeds, speeds, wear management, heat treatment, coatings, inspection, and risk control for low-defect production.
Elevify advantages
Develop skills
- Precision drilling in 304 stainless steel: set feeds, speeds, and coolant for clean holes.
- Design jigs and fixtures: clamp, locate, and bush parts for repeatable drilling.
- Set up forming dies: select clearances, radii, and steels for 2.0 mm 304 stainless steel.
- Specify brackets: define geometry, GD&T, and hole layout for production.
- Control processes and inspect: plan workflows, gauging, and wear checks to minimise scrap.
