What will I learn?
This course provides practical training in ship stability for a 190m container vessel, covering hydrostatics, GM and KG management, free surface effects, and longitudinal strength. Participants learn to plan safe loading, ballast operations, trim and draft control, handle heavy weather, avoid hazardous conditions, comply with SOLAS and classification rules, utilise stability software, and maintain professional documentation with checklists.
