What will I learn?
In this course you will understand art therapy's theoretical foundations—psychodynamic, humanistic, cognitive‑behavioural, and trauma‑informed frameworks. You will learn to select and adapt art materials for client needs, conduct formal and informal art‑based assessments, and design therapeutic directives for individuals and groups.
